A recent study by Sensor Electronic Technology, Inc has determined that coronavirus becomes even more sterile when placed closer to the UV-C source. This study supports other evidence that shows that Coronavirus becomes exponentially less resistant to UV-C the closer to the source of exposure. Exposure time necessary for sterilization dramatically decreases when the virus is closer to the source.
The A.I.R. device is designed to channel the incoming air within 5mm of the UV-C source providing increased effectiveness of the UV-C irradiation and reduced exposure time needed for sterilization. The filter mask is also exposed to the UV-C light during this process which neutralizes viruses trapped on the cloth mask filter media.
In addition to testing the coronavirus, the study by Sensor Electronic Technology, Inc also proved to be successful in sterilizing 99.9 of other harmful bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus Aureus, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Klebsiella Pneumonlae, and Salmonella Typhimurium.
