Effectiveness of UV-C LED Irradiation against Coronavirus/ COVID-19

Updated: Jan 8

*The following is an independent study published by SET.

A recent study by Sensor Electronic Technology, Inc has determined that coronavirus becomes even more sterile when placed closer to the UV-C source. This study supports other evidence that shows that Coronavirus becomes exponentially less resistant to UV-C the closer to the source of exposure. Exposure time necessary for sterilization dramatically decreases when the virus is closer to the source.

In addition to testing the coronavirus, the study by Sensor Electronic Technology, Inc also proved to be successful in sterilizing 99.9 of other harmful bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus Aureus, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Klebsiella Pneumonlae, and Salmonella Typhimurium.
